MISSION Spundana Mudra art foundation is a unique and pioneering idea of its founder/ director Jagannathan Ramamoorthy -a novel idea of combining the Musical, Astrological and Cosmic vibrational theories and practices under one roof to enhance human life and human capacity to handle the world in a way that is easily available to almost all and is also rarely taught in the west.

 Our Goals and Visions

We have started a Non Profit organization here in Los Angeles and are also connected to other Non Profit and profit making Companies who specialize in Audio-Video services and Training of Gaayaki-ang Violin, Vocal and other string playing techniques in a systematic training program.

The primary focus of this foundation will involve performance and research based workshops, seminars and other public/ community service which is very rare for the Los Angeles city, where the culmination of so many cultural aspects, traditions and knowledge is so powerful and easily the best city for such activities as planned by Spundana Mudra Arts foundation.

Services to the Community:

We, as a foundation would be inviting professional Artists from world over for lecture-demonstrations, conduct teaching workshops for the Los Angeles community keeping in mind the diverse cultural nature of the city and spread it to even the Bay area in future.
Every six months we plan to conduct a public show of various Artists comprising of mainly Micro-tonal music specialists who would bring along with them, a plethora of other artists such as the percussionists from various genre, to conduct workshops, seminars and performances within the city of Los Angeles.

Main area of Research:
" Micro-tones and their connection with healing powers.
 ~~~ How can the Microtones affect the human consciousness and cause a definite influence on the DNA?"

We provide services and products for Yoga studios, Record label companies that catalogue such products that are connected with Healing, Yoga,Massage, Chakras work, Meditation and Music. 

Who We Are

About the Director:

Jagan Ramamoorthy, Violinist, Composer and Media Producer has featured in bigger Hollywood projects such as  the movie "Hulk" and has been a senior torch-bearer of the famous Gaayaki-Ang style of Music from North India.

Brief Bio-data:-MFA world music performance, CalArts and North Indian classical Violinist, Los Angeles. Also a Durfee Foundation Master Musician Fellowship Awardee for 2006-2007. and California Traditional Music society has recognized my work for excellence in Traditional music and Arts by awarding the LA Treasures twice for my work in Indian music, in 2004 and 2007.

 We work with several other Professionals of both Hollywood and East Indian classical and Fusion Artists of repute and currently we are involved in a Film project titled Art Of Transcendence.

Yogini Sonia Hannah, Anchorage, Alaska is one of our several creative talents for our projects.
