OUR FOUNDER / DIRECTOR

Jagan Ramamoorthy has been a teacher of great repute all through his career as a Violinist and Vocalist in a rare tradition known as Gaayaki Ang--in the North Indian classical music. Trained by the lenegdary Dr. N Rajam, Violin virtuosi, Ms. Malini Rajurkar and Pt. V.U. Rajurkar vocalists from Gwalior Gharana and many other teachers in other Yogic arts such as 'Spundana Mudra'--which deals with Sacred Symbols, Mantras, Chakras and Meditation using the Micro-tonal music as the primary tool for achieving harmony within and without every being, Jagan Ramamoorthy thought of a novel idea of combining the Musical, Astrological and Cosmic vibrational theories and practices under one roof to enhance human life and human capacity to handle the world in a way that is easily available to almost all and is also rarely taught in the west.

Apart from being a very systematic and disciplined educational Art Foundation, we would be involved in research of Micro-tones and Micro-tonal music that can help the communities in a diverse socio/ cultural region, to live a healthy way of life through several musical journeys involving great masters of a very traditional and aesthetic lineage under the banner of “Art Of Transcendence”—a unique feature of presenting Art works in various media—electronic and print, for all communities to learn, preserve and incorporate these ancient arts in their daily lives.

We would be organizing public seminars, workshops and concerts involving “Micro-tonal Music, Yoga, Meditation and healing systems available” in collaborative projects such as Audio CD and DVD production that connects Music with other forms of Art—both Visual and Performing.

Other collaborative projects with many more Art groups featuring some of the greatest masters from Indian classical music, dance and Yoga experts and not to mention therapists such as massage therapists, Pranic healers and Reiki-healers in newer ideas involving Musical tones, micro-tones and harmony
